first 2 exams for the summer quarter. whew

Last Tuesday, we had our exam in anatomy & physiology (A&P), thank God it was in scantron, except for the last question - the general structural formula for common amino acids. After I'm done rechecking my scantron sheet, I went over my professor's desk and handed my paper in. I saw him grading the exam (the formula) of my classmates who're already done. I waited until he finished grading mine. I knew I got that part right, I memorized all the structures of the 20 common amino acids for my biochem class, how could I not know the general formula. I was annoyed when I saw him put a -1 beside the structure I drew. I asked him why. And he said, I didn't put a bond between the double-bonded carbon and the hydroxyl of the carboxyl group. Oh for pizza's sakes! I told him, that's the way I'm used to doing it and that's the way my biochem, organic chem, general chem, etc professors used to write it. Sheesh, he's such a pernickety prof.

Then came Wednesday - my first exam for abnormal psychology. The professor graded our exam as soon as we got done with it.. I got 84. Taking into consideration the amount of the materials covered, my score's not that bad.

Yesterday we got our A&P exam back. I got 98%, so I didn't bother arguing with my professor about the structure again.

Hmmm... I think we're driving to New Jersey (then to New York) tonight. Kuya Fila, and his family are going and they are bringing us along (my 2 siblings and I). I might still change my mind in the last minute.
